Power
Electrical contracting, EICR programmes, solar PV, EV charging and mains distribution — alongside the ventilation, door entry and telecare work social landlords now procure under Awaab’s Law.

Public protection measures, crisis alerting and lockdown, fire detection, CCTV and access control for hospitality, schools and multi-academy trusts.

Electrical contracting for homes, businesses, housing associations and main contractors across London, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Essex. Statutory EICR programmes at portfolio scale, ventilation remediation under Awaab’s Law, Entrotec communal door entry, and digital warden call for sheltered and assisted living.
The group’s Martyn’s Law business. Takes hospitality operators, schools and multi-academy trusts through the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 — tier assessment, public protection procedures and measures, and the physical systems behind them.
Managed IT and cyber security for SMEs and growing businesses. Also the group’s Verkada practice: hybrid-cloud security estates where cameras, access control, alarms, intercoms and sensors run on one console, with no on-premise recorders.
The group’s wireless business. Predictive and on-site RF surveys with guaranteed coverage, access point and switching deployment, Cat6/6A and fibre structured cabling, and managed support — across the UK and Europe.
A single fit-out, school upgrade or housing programme can draw on all four businesses under one point of contact, one programme and one set of site inductions.

Much of the group’s addressable market is mandated rather than discretionary. Four instruments create obligations clients must meet to a date, across exactly the sectors these businesses serve.
In force since 27 October 2025. Where a hazard presents a significant risk of harm a social landlord must investigate within 10 working days, issue a written summary within 3 working days, and complete safety work within 5 working days. Emergency hazards: investigated and made safe within 24 hours.
Royal Assent 3 April 2025, section 27 statutory guidance published 15 April 2026, with an implementation period of at least 24 months. The Security Industry Authority is the regulator.
The Electrical Safety Standards in the PRS (England) (Amendment) (Extension to the Social Rented Sector) Regulations 2025. In force 1 November 2025; applies to tenancies granted from 1 December 2025, earlier tenancies from 1 May 2026, all inspected before 1 November 2026. England only.
Most landline migrations are expected to complete by end of January 2027, with some services running to 2030. Every analogue warden call and telecare system in sheltered housing needs replacing.

Wire Group Ltd is registered under SIC 43210 (electrical installation) and 64203 (activities of construction holding companies). SEG Safe is a trading division of The Specialist Electrical Group Ltd, not a separately registered company.
Wire Group holds the group’s property interests, giving the operating businesses their trading premises and the group a fixed asset base independent of any single trading company.

Forty people work across the four businesses, and an engineer who joins one is joining all four. An electrician can move into fire and security; a network engineer into wireless design. That is progression a single forty-person trade business cannot offer — and the group trains for it.
